James is my kids’ piano teacher. James is awesome with kids and a brilliant musician. James now teaches Monkey Music so he can teach your little children music too. The little dude on the left is Lucian and is off to nursery soon and his dad very kindly said we could use these pictures. We’ll miss you, Lucian, but we know you’re going to smash nursery like you smash your drum every week!

It’s been great, having my littlest baby helping out this week but he’s off to secondary school on Friday😱. Back to being a one man show!

‘Singing to babies is vital to help them learn language, say scientists. Study finds infants first understand language via rhythm and tone rather than individual sounds.’

🧺🧹👩‍🍳 Having young children often means we’re tidying, cooking, and mainly, doing laundry. This can make it difficult to sit down and play (and bond) when there’s so much to do. One of the massive benefits of a weekly class is carving out that time to play with your baby with no distractions. Exceptions for staring into middle distance after a no sleep night, of course!

Team Monkey had a great day at the Royal Parks Half Marathon yesterday!

A huge congratulations to all the Monkey Music principals, teachers, families and friends who participated in the half marathon and helped raise vital funds for our charity partners, . Thank you!

A special thank you to the wonderful Alison Norman from , who gathered all of us for the event and kept everyone motivated right up to the finish line.

We have now raised over £28,000 across different fundraisers for Nordoff and Robbins during our 30th birthday year, with the goal to reach £30,000!
