Primrose School of Dance has been offering dance classes to schools for around 9 years.
The value of creative education in the lives of our young people – and the important role that
subjects such as dance, drama, music, art and design have to play alongside English, maths and
science – has never been more apparent as we begin to recover from the educational, social and
health impacts of Covid-19.
Primrose School of Dance are recruiting committed and reliable freelance teachers to help support
their vision. Our current openings are mainly for after-school clubs in the London area. We’re
frequently getting requests for new classes, so our current openings are only a small reflection of the work we can offer going forward. Please see below of a list of classes we’re currently recruiting for, and their postcode, starting from ASAP

Monday

All applicants must hold a full valid DBS certificate and be registered to work in the UK.
Payment is made weekly. £25-£30 per after-school class.

We try to place our teachers as close to home as possible to minimise travel. Please indicate on your application which class(s) you’d like to apply for, and also what other availability you have in order for us to offer additional classes going forward.

We are looking for a fun, energetic, committed and enthusiastic Dance teacher to join our team.

We are looking for a part time dance teacher to work 15 hours per week on a term time only contract.

MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION

To provide Primrose School of Dance dance classes with professional, inspiring
expertise in the area of performing arts training young people and preparing them
for productions and performances.

All teacher will work a minimum of 1 full day and 4 after school classes.

Major Tasks:
1. Deliver teaching sessions to students of different ages (between 5-25 years).

2. Where necessary to offer individual coaching and advice to students in the
area of dance.

3. To prepare dance pieces for students for their end of year production.

4. General duties common to all School staff

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed street dance teacher to join our team

Classes will be every Wednesday from 3:15 till 4:15 pm
