We're happy to announce that Atava is now an Official Representative of Sheffield Hallam University for student recruitment.

Sheffield Hallam is one of the largest universities in the UK, based in Sheffield, with around 30,000 students from over 100 countries. It offers 500+ undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with strong industry links to organisations like the NHS, IBM and Unilever, and is known for its career focused approach to teaching.

Last week, our Director, Angela Taylor, met with the Iraqi Cultural Attaché, Professor Dr Kossay Al-Ahmady, at the Iraqi Cultural Office in London.

They talked about how UK universities can support Iraqi students, including postgraduate opportunities and ways to help self-funded students study abroad.

Atava at the Kaplan International Pathways Agent Networking Lunch

We recently joined Kaplan International Pathways for their Agent Networking Lunch at Grilandia Restaurant in London, a lovely afternoon spent with the Kaplan team and fellow agents after a busy and demanding recruitment season.

For those who are not familiar, Kaplan International Pathways works with UK universities to offer pathway programmes, helping international students meet the academic and English language requirements needed to progress onto a full degree.

It was a great chance to catch up with the Kaplan team, connect with other agents in the industry, share insights from the season, and enjoy some good food and even better company.

Atava at the Navitas UK MENA Partner Connect Event

Our Director, Angela Taylor, recently attended the Navitas UK MENA Partner Connect event at Brunel University London, joining university partners and pathway colleges from across the UK.

For those who are not familiar, Navitas is a global education provider that works closely with UK universities to offer pathway programmes such as foundation courses, international year one, and pre-masters. These programmes help international students meet the academic and English language requirements needed to progress onto a full degree.

The event brought together some great minds, including Paul Lovegrove, CEO at Navitas, and the MENA team, Rami Al-Mousa and Mateusz Elmaleh, along with representatives from partner institutions such as Brunel University London, University of Hertfordshire International College, ARU College, The College at Swansea University, and Robert Gordon University International College.

It was a valuable day of learning about each university’s course offerings, entry pathways, and what makes them the right fit for students from the MENA region.

🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Independent Thinking with The University of Buckingham!

Our Operations Co-ordinator, Serag Toumi, recently attended the University of Buckingham's Agent Familiarisation Day, marking their 50th anniversary (1976-2026).

A packed day of insights included a welcome from the Registrar, an introduction to the university, a Medical School faculty presentation, campus tours of Hunter Street, and the Inaugural Agent Partner Awards Ceremony.
