Testimonial- Mike thank you for letting me use your words they mean alot! I am not afraid to say now I'm not suffering with imposter syndrome, that I am a Polymath and Multipotentialite, something I didn't discover till later in life but making up for it now!
I want to teach the next generation to be polymaths too, because the future belongs to the creatives and we need people to be highly skilled in many areas!
Mediocrity is self inflicted and Genius is self bestowed. I will teach how to think not what to think!
Autodidact: A self-taught person. [From Greek autodidaktos, self- taught : auto-, auto- + didaktos, taught.
Polymath: A polymath (Greek polymathēs, “having learned much”) is a person whose expertise spans a significant number of different subject areas.
The Era of the Modern Polymath
“The future belongs to the integrators.” — Educator Ernest Boyer
I define a modern polymath as someone who becomes competent in at least three diverse domains and integrates them into a top 1-percent skill set.
"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
Specialization is for insects."
~Robert A. Heinlein
The well informed student of occultism is one of the most universally learned of human beings. He must be acquainted with all of the important systems of world philosophy and religion, both Eastern and Western, and he must have a thorough understanding of ancient sciences and arts. There is no place for the superficial thinker in this field; and should he wander in by accident, it would be wise for him to depart in haste." - Manly P. Hall
Renaissance person should: Be able to play musical instruments, Be able to paint and output other works of art. Be forever interested in advancing knowledge and science. Be able to engage in debates regarding issues such as philosophy and ethics. Be a skilled author and poet.

2 years experience as Employability Manager at Waltham Forest College East London. In addition to 7 years in this Sector. I will be making all my workshops available online in the coming months!
Joy was the Chief Executive and Principal when I started at the college, and is now CEO of Barking and Dagenham college. We were a complete new team when I started and had to create everything from scratch! To get this type of feedback about other colleges being envious of my team, is a nice note to leave on! Alot of the students in Construction, Engineering and Automotive want to eventually own their own businesses and build their own house. Glad I've been able to help kick start their careers for them!
So proud of a number of learners that have gained apprenticeships and jobs from their work placements in the last 4 weeks! Least I can leave, knowing a number of students already have and will have amazing opportunities to progress into! Just in my area 80 students got placements since March!
Below is a case study from ISG about an amazing student, Joseph, who I've worked with since Level 1. Joseph has always impressed me with his sincerity, hard working attitude and good nature. For that reason I made sure he had a placement with Morgan Sindall in his first year, and I will let the case study below tell the rest!
Joseph Holmes, a Level 2 student at Waltham Forest College doing a BTEC Diploma in Carpentry.
He was offered a one-week work experience placement at Waltham Forest Town Hall. He joined Cre8 on site to shadow a carpenter. While Joseph was on his placement, he asked if he could extra days during his College Easter Break. Cre8 arranged the additional days for him at their factory. During his placement he really impressed the factory manager with his enthusiasm for learning and work ethic which then resulted in him being offered a full-time apprenticeship.
Joseph was overjoyed with the offer of an apprenticeship with Cre8 and gratefully accepted. He was very thankful to ISG and Cre8 for giving him this opportunity. He will continue his studies 1 day a week at Waltham Forest College to complete his BTEC Diploma.
He started his full-time job with Cre8 on 5th May 2021.
Quote from Project Director, Ben Hiscutt (Cre8):
“Joe’s attitude, enthusiasm and interest to learn has been a breath of fresh air from the first moment he arrived on site. His request to work additional days to the mandatory college requirements enabled him to also experience working within our joinery factory, where he made the same positive impression on the Factory Manager and team as he had done with our site team. It’s been a pleasure to meet Joe and we know he will be a great addition to the company over the coming years.”
Also well done to Dominik who also gained an apprenticeship while on placement at ISG!
"As per our conversation last week we will be offering Dominik Krajuszek a permanent role with us after his trial period is up. Geoff has gave me some feed back and he is extremely happy with Dominik. Geoff’s word - Keen, Punctual, willing to learn, can do the work & he is a nice kid. We will bring him forward as much as he wants to be brought forward and hopefully turn him in to a good decorator."
Also big well done to Level 2 Engineering students. Arber and Luciano who have been on an Industry Placement with engineering firm Elmelin.
"You can be proud of your protégé’s they have fitted in well with our team and are well liked. We would probably want to discuss next steps with them and the college."

Ayrton joined the Get Employed after being referred to us by Lewisham Job Centre. When Ayrton arrived he was feeling low and suffering with Anxiety. Although Ayrton had went to Uni to study Game Design, things didn’t quite work out and he struggled to find work for a long time. Having had enough of trying and getting nowhere Ayrton gave me a chance and got work experience in the shop as well as going to in-house and external employability and confidence building workshops.
I sent his CV to Kaspas Desert Lounge after a meeting with the manager and he had an interview. Ayrton was successful and felt that this job as a Team Member this is full time and better paid so feel that would be his preference. Ayrton also managed to get a contact into the Game Development industry through one of our external Trainers.
A few words from Ayrton when he began his job at Kaspas
“Hi Bianca
I realize that it is late and you aren't in the shop on weekends but I just got back home from a trial shift at Kaspa's and I wanted to let you know that I was offered the job.
Thank you so much for your help in putting together the interview and all of your help just in general. I really appreciate it. If there are still things I need to do for/with you please let me know. Thanks again

Eddie 20 young man with Asperger’s got Job at Greggs in Peckham. Success Story - Eddie went on to be Mentored by the Head of IT for Sage software, he was a human calculator and went on to win awards after his time with us. He couldn't wait to tell me he managed to get employment!
"Before I joined the programme I believed I would struggle to get a job. Then I met Bianca, she helped me regain my confidence, and I thought this may be good to help me get a job. She has put on confidence workshops and even had some partner employers come in to do a speech about life skills.
I had an interview for Greggs coming up and she helped me get ready for this interview by looking at what they wanted for their position. Me and Bianca looked at different ways to impress the employer, so I could go in with full confidence. I went into the interview with full confidence and the following week called to tell me I was successful.
Thank you very much to Bianca, for encouraging me to get involved with this brilliant programme and it helped me get my confidence back."

Before the Get Employed programme I was very nervous about everything. However, once I joined through the 121’s, workshops and my work experience in the shop, I became more confident. I became more confident in speaking to others and being able to answer interview questions.
Bianca has been a tremendous in helping me in gain confidence in myself and my abilities in job skills. I have recently been employed by David Lloyd Gyms as a Creche Assistant and I feel I got this because of her so I am very thankful for all of her help. I am so pleased to get this job and feel confident about this job and anything else that comes along.
I want to thank everyone on the programme you are all the best and so inspiring!

Jemila – 18 Success Story
From the first moment of introduction to Bianca at the jobcentre, I was very happy to meet someone in the establishment who seemed genuinely focused on helping me find work. I really enjoyed our brief conversation we had, could tell she was very serious as was I. When I joined Circle, I underwent an induction and training days.
I met manager Leigh and was advised fantastically, giving me helpful tips on my very first shift. Bianca sent my CV off to a company after we had edited it together, the same evening I received a call from the company about an interview for the following morning. The next day I went to the interview bright and early and 3 hours later they called to let me know that I had been successful.
Thank you to Bianca,

Luminaries Coaching- Paula’s (20) Success Story.
My Name is Paula I joined The Get Employed programme on the 16th November 2017. Before I was allocated to the programme I had to constantly go to the Job Centre to sign for money to survive.
The programme is the best thing that happened to me in the last few months they have been very inspiring at all times. Bianca was very patient as a work coach she constantly gave me advice and knowledge of the outside world. With that I have gained more Confidence within myself. I also learnt skills such as how to communicate and use presentation skills, confidence, knowledge, understanding having responsibility, good time keeping and how to act professionally. I now have found employment through Bianca sending my CV to Wilko and setting up interview, I had some problems with my right to work docs, but Bianca got them all together and sent them and after interview secured employment. This has changed my life and today I have more trust in myself, if I believe in me today I can comfortably do it.
