Middle Park Primary School - Eltham

In 2011 we celebrated the history of our school with a special 1930s day. Children dressed up and we had a day of single-sex education 1930s style, with the girls on the middle floor learning domestic and 'feminine' skills, and the boys on the top floor experiencing a full chalk-and-talk day of discipline.

Trips to the London Dungeon always led to a good photo opportunity. What was most frightening though …. the spooky jump scares, the gory exhibits or my hairstyle? 🤔

Hello wonderful Middle Park family.

It's Miss A here. For those of you that are not aware, I am taking (very) early retirement and will be leaving Middle Park at the end of this month after 28 years. As I head into my last few weeks, I have been clearing out and coming across so many wonderful memories from the last three decades. I can't find exactly when I started this page but I do know that it has been going for at least a decade and will hold special photographs and memories for many of you.

It is my intention to publish the page for the next month so that you can raid and reminisce on any content that might be of interest. At the end of March, I will unpublish the page permanently and keep it locked away as a secret virtual time capsule that can be hacked into and uncovered in 100 years.

I'll share any bits that I come across over the next few weeks but in the meantime - enjoy!

A fantastic final trip for Year 6 who spent the day in Southend. All the feels. 💙

There ain’t no goodbye like a Middle Park goodbye. An emotional day at the end of an emotional week, today we said thank you and farewell to our much-loved leavers including our wonderful Year 6 and our awesome staff Mrs Tullis, Mr Lawrence and Mrs Willoughby. The end of an era!

You will all, always be a part of the Middle Park story that connect us all.

Wishing all our families a safe and enjoyable summer, and signing off with an enormous thank you to the staff team at Middle Park who have worked their socks off this year and achieved so much.

Allergy management is in the news a lot at the moment. At Middle Park we have an anaphylaxis ‘kitt’ that is ready to use in an emergency, and many fully trained staff. We hope that it doesn’t happen here, but we are prepared in case it does.

Wowsers trousers! Year 6… we are BURSTING with pride, what an incredible show you put on. You nailed every note, every move, every costume, every “BULLSEYE!”

What a wonderful year group you are and of course it’s of no surprise to anyone that you have so many gifts and talents.
