SOAS South Asia Institute The SOAS South Asia Institute (SSAI) is the forum for South Asian-related research activities at SOAS, University of London

The principal role of the Institute is to promote, coordinate and disseminate information relating to, the academic study of South Asia across the disciplines and to act as a resource for academic, governmental, non-governmental and business constituencies with an interest in South Asia. It does so through the research and publications of its staff, new teaching programmes, an established seminar series and special events.
