This week we focused on a few basic techniques. The form is simple. The details to learn and master are endless.

Today Gen Pu Kan hosted a well-attended seminar. We trained in body arts and weapons, learning something new both from Chiba-sensei's and Saito-sensei's schools of aikido. Special thanks to Steve Beecham Shihan for teaching several very refined classes.

Following the training we also had gradings and two of our aikidokas - Edward David Handley Sabio and Oleg Kapinos passed their examinations. They were recommended for nidan and shodan respectively.

Several students were also awarded their kyu certificates. It's great to see the art of aikido attracting new talent.
