Important Update & Apology Regarding the Latest WizPoints Update

We would like to sincerely apologise for an issue that has affected the latest WizPoints update.

As part of bringing WizPoints fully in line with the new TfL points list, the default installation was designed to mark all points as **Unknown**. This was intentional, as it allows the map view to display every point required when the **WizAnn** logo filter is selected.

However, the update was also designed to preserve the status of any points you had already marked as pointed. During our testing, this worked exactly as expected. Unfortunately, it appears that the live version of the update has instead marked **all points as Unknown**, including those that many of you had already recorded as learned.

**What this means:**

**If you are just starting to point** the update is actually beneficial, as everything is correctly set up for the new TfL list.
**If you are already well advanced with your pointing** you will unfortunately need to re-mark the points you have already pointed if you install the latest version.

If you **have not yet updated** the app and you are already well advanced in your pointing, we recommend **waiting before updating** while we investigate and work on a solution.

We fully appreciate that this may create unnecessary repeated work for many of you, and we are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience and frustration this may cause. We take great pride in our products, and despite extensive testing, this issue was not identified before the update was released.

Finally, we'd like to reassure everyone of one important thing: **a point marked as "Unknown" in the app does not mean it has become unknown in your mind.** If you have already learned and understand a point, that knowledge is still yours. The app's status is simply a progress tracker, it does not reflect what you have actually learned.
