🧘🏼‍♀️ Yoga with a twist!🧘🏼‍♀️

👋 Hello everyone. We're back with a new theme this term! You'll be delighted to know it's not core work (I mean, it's ALL core work 😉) Nope, it's TWISTS 🌀 which are brilliant for increasing mobility through the spine and hips and for wringing out tension throughout tired, tight bodies (like mine!) Do join, especially if you've slipped out of the habit recently and you've been meaning to get back on the mat. It's totally worth it and a lovely thing to do for your body. Bring along friends and family. All welcome, always 😘 😊

🧘🏼‍♀️ Yoga for tight bodies 🧘🏼‍♀️

👋 Hello, having a stiff, achey body is no joke. Believe me, I wake up with creaky, sore joints most mornings. If I didn't do yoga, I'd be a mess. Yoga can ease you out, ring out tension and make you feel brand new (but you gotta keep doing it!!) Join in this term, especially if you have tight hips and hams (which is most of us!)😊

🧘🏼‍♀️ hips and hams yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️

Hi 👋 our termly focus is on our hips and hamstrings. It's a strong practice working into those often tight and weak areas. So, we'll be facing it with kindness and an open mind 😉 Do be gentle with yourself when you come to class. For me, yoga is less about how far you can get into a shape, but more about the ease and the breath you can cultivate while you're there. Yoga is ultimately a freedom practice.

🧘🏼‍♀️ Yoga for hips and hamstrings 🧘🏼‍♀️

Hello everyone 👋 our termly focus is our hips and hamstrings. We'll be building strength and flexibility in those (often tight and weak) areas. What I would say is that how far you can stretch into a pose is not half as interesting (to me) as seeing if you can find your version of the pose, notice the sensation of that pose and then calmly breath and focus while you're there. This is going to be essential in some of the big-feeling hamstring stretches we'll be working on 😉

🌞 New term, new yoga 🌞

Hello 👋 we're back to our regular schedule as we start a new term with a new theme! I'll let you know our focus tomorrow evening. It won't be core work, so don't panic! We'll keep it nice and steady this week 😉

‼️This week I'm adding a FREE ONLINE Friday lunchtime stretch. Half an hour to step away from your desk and do something nice for your body. I'll send a Teams link out beforehand.

🌞 Back to yoga 🌞

Hello 👋 I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again this week after a little summer break. We'll ease in to our practice with some nice all-round full-body moves before heading back into our termly themes. We'll keep it nice and steady 😉

Hello all 👋 I've survived a weekend sleeping on a mat in a tent but like many of the things we only do in the holidays it's left me with a few achey bits 🏕 Yoga will help ease out those joints and bring a bit of fluidity back. 🌳 Park yoga was rained off yesterday so we went online 🖥 for a 💷 free yoga class. Which was a nice/unexpected change. 🌳 Park yoga was rained off this morning so we went online 🖥 for a 💷 free yoga class. Which was a nice/unexpected change.
