As Christopher Nolan intended - as well as our very own Film alumni, Marcus Zapp (a hardcore Christopher Nolan fan: rumours say he has seen the Odyssey 7 times 👀)
 
Marcus created this short film, In Nominee Patris, back in 2022 when he graduated from our London campus. Many students may be familiar with his work as he has been supporting and even teaching at the campus ever since.
 
Introducing one of his short films as part of his SAE journey, featuring Annie: a young woman who lives on the fringes of society, but she gets brought into a mysterious cult by its enigmatic leader Peter.

From SAE Glasgow to Silent Hill

SAE Glasgow alumnus Ross McIntosh has built a career as an Environment Artist, contributing to projects linked to major franchises including Silent Hill, Diablo IV, Assassin’s Creed and Battlefield. �

A career highlight was contributing to Silent Hill: Townfall—a full-circle moment for a lifelong fan of the series. Alongside working with co-development studio Electric Square on major game projects, Ross also returned to SAE Glasgow as a lecturer, helping the next generation of artists take their first steps into the industry.

His journey is proof that creativity, resilience and hands-on learning can open doors to incredible opportunities in games. �
