🟢 Why do it?
We make journalists better investigators and help them to tell stories that make a real difference.
Thanks to the investigations published by the journalists we trained:
✅Nepalese schoolchildren's lives were protected from climate-induced landslides
✅$15B of renewable energy funding which went missing in Lesotho was uncovered
✅Protections for Cameroonian mangrove forests were reinforced
🟢Why now?
In 2026 we offered 10 scholarships to journalists from Latin America, Africa or South Asia to take our Climate Investigations Course. They are half way through the programme now.
The quality of applicants was so high, we could have offered three times as many places, but... we didn't have enough funding.
So this will help us train five more excellent journalists in climate investigations.
