Last week, we were thrilled to host the premiere of Maybrick, funded by the 2024 Carlie Tufnell Spark Fund 🎬
After the screening, students and alumni participated in a Q&A session with 2024 Fund recipients Charlotte Ainsworth and Lorna Lennon-Dalziel, alongside 2025 recipients Lea Krüger and Eva Goodwin.
Awarded £10,000 through the Spark Fund at graduation, Charlotte and Lorna have spent the past year developing Maybrick from concept to completed film. It was wonderful to celebrate the completion of the project and the achievements of our community.
Congratulations to Charlotte, Lorna, and the entire Maybrick team on a fantastic screening and a remarkable achievement.

Our students took over Studio A last week to host two successful nights of their sold out play, Londinium!
Both nights hosted in our studio theatre saw round after round of applause for some excellent performances, costumes, and sets throughout 🤴👸
Londinium takes place in England 1666. Just days before the great fire. The play is about a two-faced Jester who puts everything on the line in a desperate attempt to subvert the monarchy, including those closest to him & even the bridge city he calls home. Londinium is a warning about greed, a plea for kindness, asking us how much we would sacrifice for fame & respect and if there are things we can never come back from.
