Today we celebrated a beautiful Marian Procession at school. It was such a special occasion filled with prayer, song, and love for Our Lady. We were delighted to welcome Father Stephen, who joined us throughout the celebration.

The hall was filled with joyful hymns to Mary as each class proudly carried the flowers they had carefully made. In procession, the children walked reverently around the hall towards Mary’s altar, where they offered their flowers as a sign of love and devotion.

It was wonderful to see the creativity, prayerfulness, and enthusiasm of all the children as we honoured Mary together as a school family. A truly lovely and faith-filled celebration. πŸŒΈπŸ’™

A beautiful celebration of faith on Sunday 17th as another group of our children received their First Holy Communion. ✝️🀍

As a Catholic school, we are so proud to walk alongside our children and families on this very special sacramental journey. It was wonderful to see the children gathered together in prayer and celebration as they received Jesus in the Eucharist for the very first time. πŸ™βœ¨

Congratulations to all of our Holy Communicants and their families on this blessed occasion. We continue to keep them in our prayers as they grow in faith and love. πŸ’›

This was our second Sunday of Holy Communions, with more special celebrations still to come! πŸ“Έ

Today’s assembly was filled with so much love, gratitude, and beautiful memories as we celebrated Ms Val on her retirement and thanked her for the incredible impact she has had on our school family over the years. πŸ’πŸ’–

The children shared thoughtful cards and flowers, staff and children spent special moments together with Ms Val, and we all came together in prayer to thank her for everything she has done. We also took a walk down memory lane, looking back at wonderful photos and memories from throughout the years she has been part of our school community. πŸ“Έβœ¨

Thank you, Ms Val, for your kindness, dedication, and the countless lives you have touched throughout your years with us. Your care and support will always be remembered, and you will forever remain a cherished part of our school family. ❀️

Wishing you a happy and well-deserved retirement, Ms Val! 🌸

A couple of weeks ago, our KS2 pupils took part in a fantastic Water Safety Workshop! πŸŒŠβ˜€οΈ

The children learnt all about staying safe in and around water, including:
πŸ–οΈ Understanding the Water Safety Code
🚩 Learning the meaning of beach flags
πŸ›Ÿ Identifying beach lifeguards and water hazards
β˜€οΈ Important sun-safety messages
πŸ’™ What to do if they or someone else gets into trouble

The session was engaging, informative and incredibly important as we head towards the summer months. Well done to all of our pupils for their brilliant participation and thoughtful questions! πŸ‘

On the Feast Day of St George, we came together as a school community to celebrate England’s patron saint. πŸ΄πŸ‰β€οΈ

Throughout the day, the children enjoyed learning about the story and bravery of St George, while taking part in a variety of creative and themed activities. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm as we marked this special feast day together.

As a Catholic school, we value opportunities to celebrate important saints and traditions, helping our children grow in faith, understanding, and community spirit.

A lovely day enjoyed by all!

On Sunday, some of our children received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion β€” a beautiful and blessed milestone in their faith journey. βœ¨πŸ™

As a Catholic school, we are proud to walk alongside our students and families in nurturing faith, love, and devotion to Christ. This special Sunday marks the first of many Sundays where they will continue to grow closer to Jesus through the Eucharist. 🀍

A heartfelt thank you to Mr and Mrs Carter for all their help in preparing the children for this very special occasion, and to Father Stephen for leading such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony.

May God continue to guide and bless each of our communicants as they take this important step in their spiritual lives.

This week, we have been reflecting on Holy Week through a series of prayerful and meaningful assemblies ✝️

Last Friday, Honesty and Gratitude led us in remembering Palm Sunday 🌿
On Monday, Hope and Justice guided us through The Last Supper 🍞
Yesterday, Tolerance, with the support of Father Stephen, led a thoughtful Penitential Service πŸ™
And today, Courage and Wisdom led the Stations of the Cross, which was especially reverent and emotional πŸ’œ

The children have also been working incredibly hard on their Creative Stations of the Cross, and we are so proud of their reflections and creativity 🎨

Tomorrow, Mr Irie will be leading parents in prayer as we walk through the stations together. This will take around 30 minutes, and we warmly invite you to join usβ€”it is a truly beautiful and moving experience ✨

On Friday, the children will take part in walking the Creative Stations, and we will finish the day with our Easter raffle 🐣
Please remember to purchase your raffle tickets!
