Musicart Primary age children's holiday club MUSICART offers children of Primary School age the space to create in this unique ART and MUSIC Workshop.

The children will have the time and space to explore whichever type of Art project takes their fancy and by using many different crafts will discover and enjoy this space to create. They will receive help with their projects from a team of experienced artists and designers but will be encouraged to come up with their own ideas. They will also learn some great songs which will be remembered long af

ter the course is finished - and will have the opportunity to form the MUSICART Band to play along at our concert at the end of the MUSICART Course. At the end of MUSICART the children will take home Artwork they are proud of - and a load of happy memories!

Today I am looking at birds because I have been entranced by the green parakeets who have recently made a large tree, two doors down, home. Whilst they don’t have the beautiful voice of a thrush, blackbird or robin, there is something magical about seeing tropical birds in the wild in North London!! Here are parakeets depicted through the media of paint and embroidery, a beautiful little needle-felted wren and a stunning quilt block featuring doves - what bird would you create and how would you do it?
