*Being alive and still able to witness and enjoy so much of life

*Being one year older, for with each year has come added growth, maturity, insight and wisdom

*For the conversations that connected, edified, facilitated growth and brought joy

*For those relationships and people in my life that accepted, challenged and loved in good measure

*For the challenges that have grown my perserverance, resilience and courage, as well as my empathy, just that little bit more with each new adversity

On this New Year's Eve, I am grateful for 2023:

* For life, health and provision. I'm still here, I'm still alive and I still have an able body that allows me to have an occupation and live life in full. And I've had full provision for all my needs. I cannot ask or need for more. God's unending grace is sufficient.

* For the publication of my book, The Call of A Woman, and the positive impact it's had to shift narratives and positively empower those who've read it and fed back to me. And the donation of its proceeds to the organisation Women's Aid to support their work in assisting those facing domestic abuse. We are fearfully and wonderfully created as women. Let us all step into our calling and powerfully co-create our unique story with God.

* For positive, uplifting and empowering relationships. You know who you are. Everyone of you with whom I've shared insightful conversations, learnt so much from, grown and developed together with, and created anew with. As we come to the end of what has been a challenging year both personally and globally for many, I want to take this opportunity to wish all my family, friends, colleagues and clients a blessed Christmas.

It is at this celebration of Christ's birth that we can all take time to ponder all that is important and of value in our lives. Despite life's challenges, there is also so much to be grateful for.
