How well do you know your brain?
The Amygdala is a small but important part of our mental make up!
It is our flight/ fight/ freeze instinct- we need it to help protect ourselves and it can be really useful to support us in unfamiliar situations.
Sometimes - we need to help “Tame” those instincts - that’s where taking 5 can come in really handy…
Breathe 🧘♀️ IN for 5, Breathe 🧘♀️ OUT for 5 and then check back in with your Amygdala instinct..

Good morning followers!!
If you’re like me and getting back into the swing of work mode after the holiday break I need to settle my mind- reconnect my mind and body and begin with a breath work before I can switch on my attention to work mode.. from the activities of daily family life.
