Music class at Share goes to the next level with Sahra throwing some awesome flamenco moves and Danny keeping the rhythm going on drums with added percussion from the whole groupππ€©
We were totally immersed: first we all watched dancing films, then talked about how it made us feel and described the movements. Then students each suggested a movement whilst everyone else copied from their chairs, then had the chance to do a solo dance to a flamenco track while the rest of the class played along. Sahra was in the zone π₯π

Our latest Supper Club brought together students, families, carers, volunteers, and partners for another fantastic evening at the Share Community CafΓ©.
There was plenty going on, with Zain serving a selection of colourful, refreshing mocktails, Ru on BBQ duty, and Joe welcoming guests on the door.
A special shout out to student Paula, who independently built the entire BBQ from a flatpack before the event. Anyone who's ever tackled flatpack instructions will know that's no small achievement! π
We were also thrilled to welcome our wonderful volunteers from Simmons & Simmons, Annie, Melita and Celestino, who worked alongside students throughout the evening and helped make it such a success.
Our Supper Clubs are a great way for students to showcase the catering and hospitality skills they've been working so hard to develop, and gain real hospitality experience, all while bringing people together in a warm and welcoming community.
We can't wait for the next one!

Big thank you to Jimmy Garcia Catering who joined us in our kitchen at Share Clapham Junction earlier this month. Chef Heidi and Pastry Chef Hugo spent the day working with our catering students to help them prepare lunch for our staff and students. We were in for a treat! We had some amazing lamb kofta on flatbread with homemade mint yoghurt and zingy Greek salad, followed by some fresh fruit tarts. An amazing day, thanks so much π₯°

It's been an incredible couple of weeks for Share students, who've once again been working at the Championships thanks to Work at Wimbledon, an initiative run by the Wimbledon Foundation that offers supported pathways into employment for people facing barriers to work.
Shammah returned to the retail team working in the No. 1 Court Shop and Joe returned to the guest services team, working at the gates in the Southern Village. Michael joined Joe in the guest services team in his first paid role.
It's been very busy (and hot!) but a fantastic experience, well done guys! ππΎ

Our creative writing group have been busy pondering the heatwave π₯
It's so hot today! They've been thinking about how to keep cool; eating an ice lolly and icecream is a great suggestion π¦π₯°
Big thanks to Share students: Harish, Tariq, Joyce, Charles, Robert, and Gus who wrote these poems, and to our volunteer Janice who makes the sessions happen π

π± Pop-up plant stall in Springfield Park β Monday 22 June π±
If you happen to be in the Tooting/Earlsfield area on Monday 22 June, swing by to visit our pop-up plant stall from 11:30amβ1:30pm at Toast Stores CafΓ© in the beautiful Springfield Park.
This is a great opportunity to pick up some young vegetable plants for your garden, including courgettes and tomatoes, along with a selection of indoor and outdoor plants.
Students from the Share Garden Centre will be there to sell the plants they've grown and nurtured, learning gardening, employability and customer service skills while building confidence and independence.
So whether you're looking to brighten up your home, grow your own vegetables, or simply support a worthwhile local cause, we'd love to see you there!
Huge thanks to SILVASTONE, a UK-based producer and artist known for his work across Afrobeats, hip hop, and contemporary music, for joining us at Share to produce this track with our students. Alongside his creative work, he is actively involved in music education and community engagement through his CIC . All beats, piano, and vocals were created by Share students and arranged by SILVASTONE. What an amazing day! π€©π

Cloud gazing β We're so impressed with these fabulous photos taken by our students in photography sessions with volunteer Steve. The brief was simply to include clouds as a backdrop to the subject. Mission accomplished!
