Kerem School

Kerem was delighted to welcome the wonderful Year 1 and Year 2 pupils from Anne Mount Prep School.

The children enjoyed a tour of the shul with Rabbi Luis before taking part in activities led by our fantastic Year 6 pupils, where they learnt about Jewish practices including Shabbat, Kashrut and Tzitzit.

A huge thank you to Rabbi Luis and our amazing Year 6s for helping to make the visit such a memorable experience.

Year 5 had a fantastic time taking part in the Etgar competition this week! Etgar is an inter-school Jewish general knowledge challenge, and our pupils rose to the occasion, showcasing their impressive Jewish knowledge and teamwork. They worked incredibly hard throughout the competition and represented the school with pride. We are so proud of their efforts - it was a wonderful experience and a great day enjoyed by all! ✨👏

On Monday, we started off the week with a wonderful celebration of music 🎶✨

Our talented pupils proudly showcased their musical instruments during assembly, sharing their hard work and passion with the whole school.

It was a joy to see their confidence and creativity shine, and we are incredibly proud of every child who took part! 👏🎻🥁🎹

Our boys represented Kerem with tremendous pride at the semi-finals of a national tournament hosted by Belmont School.

Each player competed in five matches, with points awarded to schools based on their overall performance. Although we did not progress to the final, the boys were outstanding ambassadors for the school, demonstrating so many of the Kerem Characteristics throughout the day, including resilience, determination, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Most importantly, they embraced the experience with enthusiasm and had a fantastic time. We are incredibly proud of the way they conducted themselves and of the spirit with which they approached the competition.

What an incredible 36 hours for Kerem!🌟

Together, our community raised more than £575,000 for the school - a powerful reflection of the love, loyalty and belief that so many people have in Kerem.

Our deepest thanks to all the parents, grandparents, friends, alumni and local businesses for helping us secure an exciting future for the next generation of children.
