This Saturday, Natalia Myczewska is back with us for a special Follower’s Technique Workshop ❤️

Three hours dedicated to the follower’s side of the dance, with time to work properly on posture and balance, walking, pivots, giros, embellishments, musicality and quality of movement.

If you already have some Tango experience and would like some focused time to work on your own movement, confidence and expression, come and join Natalia. 😊

Another little glimpse from Tango Unlimited! 😊

Teresa and I will be teaching again this evening — a class where we explore tango beyond fixed sequences, working with ideas that help you understand the dance, improvise more freely and find more possibilities in your own tango.

✨ Followers Technique with Natalia Myczewska ✨

Natalia is back in London — and we have a very special afternoon dedicated entirely to followers! ❤️

Join Natalia for a 3-hour Followers Technique Intensive on Saturday 12 September.

Natalia is not only a wonderful tango dancer and teacher, but also a trained dancer with a strong background in movement and technique. That makes this a fantastic opportunity to spend three focused hours really working on your own body — understanding how you move, refining the details and developing more confidence, freedom and expression in your dancing.

We’ll start from the foundations — posture, alignment, walking and projections — and build through pivots, ochos and giros, before exploring embellishments, musicality and how to bring more of yourself into the dance.

And towards the end, Natalia will bring everything together with a fun and challenging choreography to music. 💃

The workshop is designed to be useful whatever your level. Whether you're still building your foundations or you're an experienced dancer wanting to refine the details, there will be plenty to explore.

The day Diana made a wardrobe malfunction musical! 😂❤️

Her dress got caught under her shoe in the middle of our performance — but the way she danced her way out of it was so beautifully timed with the music that it almost looked intentional. A lovely little moment from our show together. 😊

And a perfect opportunity to say a huge thank you to Diana Cruz for everything she brought to us during her time in London. ❤️

It was an absolute pleasure having Diana with us — teaching, performing, dancing at the milongas and spending time with our community. She is not only a beautiful dancer and wonderful teacher, but such a lovely person to have around.

Thank you, Diana, for everything you shared with us. We loved having you here and we very much look forward to welcoming you back to London! ❤️

Tango Unlimited is our Sunday class where we explore tango with a little more freedom — playing with different ideas, different music and different possibilities, while still keeping the connection and communication that make tango tango.

And afterwards, we carry that same spirit into Milonga Simpática — our 50/50 Sunday milonga:

Tango Amistoso Teacher Training starts this October! ❤️

Over the years, I've worked with and trained a number of dancers who have gone on to teach Tango themselves — both at Tango Amistoso and elsewhere.

Now, for the first time, we're bringing together the way we understand and teach Tango at Amistoso into a structured Teacher Training programme.

It's for people who want to become Tango teachers, of course, but it's also a chance to understand your own Tango at a much deeper level.

We'll explore Tango as a language — looking at how the body works, leading and following, communication, musicality, awareness, psychology, vocabulary and, importantly, how you take that understanding and learn to teach it to someone else.

The programme is approximately 200 hours, spread over a minimum of one year, combining online learning through Tango Maitri with mentoring, practice and in-person training opportunities in London.
