Just keep swimming – focus on my path. If you focus on your on lane there is inevitably a right fit company. Focus has yielded great benefits as it has sharpened my skills as in the fullness of time I have been granted exposure to multiple number of industries . With confidence, I say this, being SME across a number of domains is my superpower. Being SME has given me the ability to prioritise context over frameworks. My ability to observe, orient, decide and act has gotten better the more embedded I become in a domain.
By sharing my insights and expertise through posts, presentations, and speaking engagements. Community is everything and contributing even if it is over a side conversation in a breakout session with any number of niched players goes a long way to establish one’s self as a thought leader. Years spent focusing on my craft has meant credibility is not an issue as these days my established credibility with peers opens doors that interviews perhaps would not have.
Master Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strengthening my ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, innovation, marketing, analysis and other teams. By so doing, understanding their perspectives and challenges to become a better leader. Collaboration is not finessing yourself in – collaboration will expose your vulnerabilities but blessedly worse case scenario you learn from the encounter! I love learning. Collaboration is the best learning ground. That ability to always open oneself up to absorb another's perspective truly is a superpower.💯
