Somewhere between downward dog and deep breaths, I found this little human underneath me, a quiet reminder that space inside and out is no longer mine alone 🤍

Motherhood has a way of filling every corner.
The quiet, the movement, the pauses I used to take for granted now shared, reshaped and often interrupted.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to create space, not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. As spring equinox arrived this week, it felt like a natural pause for reflection and renewal, a time to align with energy of new beginnings at this turning point in the season.

I've been hustling for quite a few years wearing sooo many different hats, nursing, yoga, therapy and first aid training. All this alongside being a mother, partner and friend and studying 🤪

I want more time for the best stuff, mothering, love, friendship and adventure and with this, I've made the decision to step away from the first aid training. It's been an amazing part of my journey, I've met so many people over the 8 years of delivery, so many heart felt connections and conversations and developed so much friendship along the way but the training takes up too much of my time and energy.

Il honour the course dates on my website and anyone else who I'm already in conversation with about training in their work place but that's it my friends!! If anyone is interested in taking the baton from me and has the right qualifications and experience, I'd be very happy to support you to become a trainer. Email me ✨

To all of you who have come back time and time again to retrain with me, I have the deepest gratitude to you. Big thanks to you all!

Sometimes finding space no only letting go but choosing what to hold closer. ✨

Free all the occupation 💪

Hello! Feels mega awkward showing up here when the world is going up in flames because the worst of the worst humans are in charge but I'm doing some good things and I'm looking for some help!

Aside from the yoga therapy and yoga classes I offer, I'm working on a brilliant project called 'It takes a Village' supporting women with multiple disadvantages to access services that are meant to be for them as well as challenging the barriers that stop them from getting help in the first place.

These women have been exploited, are homeless and often face addictions. They are navigating trauma, systems that don't always meet them where they are and the daily work of survival.

Alongside my practitioner role, I'm hoping to bring yoga therapy into the space. Not as a luxury but as a tool of self reflection, reconnection, regulation and self care and community. A gentle way to support engagement and create moments of safety in bodies that have been through ALOT.

I'm in search of a donation of props, yoga mats, bricks, blankets and anything else that the world wants to offer! Does anyone have any contacts in the yoga industry who might be open to donating some to a women's only homeless hostel in South London? I've contacted big brands such as but I'm not getting the vibe that they are hugely community spirited 😬

If you know someone that knows someone please reach out. Every little bit helps. Even in a messy, painful world, these small circles of care matter and it really does take a village.

Thanks! ✌️

Every single milestone for our babies and children lands itself as a huge transition for us mothers.

I'm settling Bonnie into nursery this week, she will be a year old this month, how did this happen so fast?! I thought it might be easier doing this the second time around but in a way, it feels harder, it's like an end of an era, the baby era.

It's such a joy to watch these little souls grow, change and become their own, it's also very exciting to have some sips of selfhood on the horizon but with all of this, there is definitely a sense of grief and it feels important to hold both sides of the coin with equal value, especially in a world that always focuses on the pleasure feelings.

As I'm back at work next week, it also means my daily/weekly sessions will mostly end. This community has been the bread and butter of both my maternity services. It's been the community that has held me in all the juxtaposition of motherhood. No judgement, no competition, no patriarchy just a community full of warmth, compassion, understanding and wisdom. I've spent my days with absolute queens and their babies whilst being able to keep up my other loves, swimming and saunas. It's held me through all the ups and downs that motherhood brings and I feel incredibly lucky to have found this community.

and point out why mothering is perhaps the hardest it's ever been, but we were never supposed to do this alone, so please don't think you have to. There are so many communities out there that are waiting for you and your babes to join. is always an open door.

Big love to you 🧡 and big thanks to

for making space for us mums who are building the next generations!

I have a few spaces left for the first aid course I'm running in 16 October, it will be at the very beautiful teacher training academy, London Fields. 9-5pm, £100

It's very accessible, fun and informative course that's fully regulated and complies with all the HSE standards, valid for 3 years.

We share experiences and learn from each other and together. You'll get to experience practical learning with resus dolls and also have a go with defib machines. You'll go home fully qualified (I promise!) with a mini first aid kit and a resource book to refer back to any of our learning.

I'm really proud of this course I've developed, as someone who has historically struggled in learning environments due to inaccessible teachings, I've worked hard to make sure it's inclusive, accessible and adaptable to each students needs, so much so that I have 92% of students returning to repeat the course with me when their qualification has expired.

More info on my website, I haven't got any fancy booking system so book via email or DM!

I signed up for therapy this month, not because I feel ill but because I want to stay well, it feels like a refreshing approach to my health and wellbeing that I am honouring, a bit like a gym membership I guess. I believe that getting to know myself more, finding those hidden parts of me lurking in the subconscious and start to see how they play out in the now will help to increase self awareness, self compassion and overall a feeling of wellbeing.

I never used to think I had things hidden away, I guess we probably all don’t, but the mind has an incredible way of protecting ourselves and its a little bit like an iceberg, we see whats on the surface but you got to dive in to see whats below. I’ve been diving into the deep in a psychological therapy training I am just finishing, where I’ve discovered memories of events, experiences and feelings that were buried deep below the surface into the subconscious, things that I had forgotten or didn’t even know existed.

Talking therapy is powerful, more so than I thought and combined with more body based, yoga therapy, it can be a very powerful experience to support health, wellbeing and regulation.

We've been sold the idea that if we just try hard enough, breathe more deeply, move more in our bodies, journal morning and night, meditate daily, we can regulate our emotions all on our own.

But here's the truth, we are biologically hard wired for connection. From the moment we are born, our nervous systems learn to regulate through the presence of others, this is called co-regulation. The way our bodies and brains settle when we feel seen, safe and supported with someone else and when we know that others are also experiencing safety, support and security is one of the biggest factors for positive health and wellbeing.

We are not designed to do it all alone, we never have been and we never will be. So if you're moving, shaking, tapping, releasing, resting, breathing, journaling, meditating and you still feel s**t, know that you're not failing but it's a cue for connection.

Lean into others, move towards communities, get offline and go outside, make eye contact, smile at the bus driver, offer your seat to someone, play peakaboo with the babies, put your map away and ask for directions, sit closer on the sofa, have a chat with a stranger.m, go to the yoga studio.

Let's normalise needing each other, let's normalise and emphasise connection with others rather than just to ourselves.
