We are particularly proud to recognise the involvement of two BDA London Branch committee members, Abigail (treasurer) and Sharon (co-chair), who are contributing to the important work of the Right to Food UK Commission. Their involvement highlights the vital role dietitians play in advocating for healthier, fairer food systems and ensuring that community voices are heard.

Food insecurity continues to affect many individuals and families across the UK. Through initiatives such as the Right to Food UK Commission, communities are being given the opportunity to share their experiences and help shape meaningful change.

This Dietitians Week, on Tuesday, members of the BDA London Branch Committee share why dietetics means so much to them. From supporting patients through illness and recovery to improving workplace wellbeing and community health, every journey into dietetics is unique, but all are united by a passion for making a difference 💙
