Urgent Call for Expression Of Interest: Evaluation National Field Manager/Co-Consultant (Tanzania)
Lifetime Consulting & Partners is seeking two Tanzanian National Field Managers/Co-consultants to support the Lead Consultant in delivering a Mid-term Review of a Country Strategy for our Client, an international organisation working across eight regions of Tanzania. The successful candidate will coordinate and manage fieldwork arrangements, ensure data quality control, conduct key informant interviews (KIIs) and focus group discussions (FGDs), and assist with data analysis and report writing. Due to the nature of the work and in line with our client’s preferences, female applicants will be given priority.

We are searching for a talented individual with a proven track record of success in education, SRHR, youth economic empowerment, gender, child protection, ECD and health. You should have a Master’s or higher degree in a relevant field and be proficient in English and Swahili. The role demands extra effort, including working on weekends and beyond normal working hours. Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in desk reviews to gain assignment insights for the delivery of the assignment.
- Assist with developing and translating data collection tools
- Coordinate fieldwork logistics, arrangements and communication between Lifetime Consulting, the Client and Contact Persons in their respective work areas.
- Take the lead in training and supervising enumerators and ensure data quality control during pilot testing and part fieldwork.
- Conduct key informant interviews (KIIs) and a selection of focus group discussions (FGDs)
- Coordinate enumerators’ data and reports in their assigned areas, including ensuring that they submit transcribed notes.
- Compile/transcribe notes in their assigned work areas and assist with qualitative data analysis and report writing.
- Attend relevant meetings with the evaluation team, the client, and the respondents, such as inception, update meetings, report presentation, and validation.
- Collaborate with the lead consultant to perform other essential tasks to ensure the assignment's successful delivery.
Period and Duration
Data collection and fieldwork will take place for up to two weeks between 15 April and 4 May 2024 in the regions of Pwani, Rukwa, Geita and Mwanza (subject to change), and we would love up to 25 days of your time towards this assignment.
