Springtime Stay & Play - Streatham and Clapham Prep - GDST Girls aged 3+ and their families are invited to our Pre-Prep setting for fun activities and the chance to meet our teachers and leadership team.

Final Day! ☀️

The sun came out to play for our final morning of the Year 5 residential! After an early start tackling the “great suitcase squeeze” and tidying rooms 🧹, the adrenaline hit a high on the Trapeze. It was incredible to watch the pupils scale the pole and take that leap of faith—the growth in their confidence has been a joy to see.

We spent the rest of the morning soaked in sunshine for Orienteering, where the focus was all on precision map skills. The pupils were incredibly focused, navigating the grounds with impressive accuracy and teamwork. 🗺️📍

This group has been absolute superstars. They’ve challenged themselves, taken risks and are heading home with their heads held high (and significantly more confidence than they arrived with!).

Small changes, big impact! 🌍

Our Year 6 pupils blew us away at this year’s Summer Fair! Taking the lead on sustainability, they designed every stall with the planet in mind. From ingenious upcycled games to prizes handcrafted with love or rescued from the recycling bin, every detail proved that you don’t need ‘new’ to have a blast.

Best of all? All proceeds are going to the Wildlife Trust to help protect our local habits. So proud of our eco-warriors! 🦊 🌳

Day 3 🥳 🌲

Today wasn’t just about the lovely outdoors; it was about building a lifelong toolkit of skills. From the disciplined focus required for archery and rifling to the sheer grit and problem-solving displayed on the climbing wall, these girls are proving they can handle any challenge with a growth mindset. 💪🎯

The absolute highlight? Jacob’s Ladder. 🪜✨
This was team building in its purest form. As the rungs got higher and the gaps wider, the girls realized that individual strength only gets you so far. To succeed, they had to master:
*Collaborative Leadership: Taking charge while lifting others up.

*Effective Communication: Giving clear, calm cues under pressure.

*Empathy: Knowing exactly when a teammate needed a hand or a word of encouragement.

Watching them realize that collective triumph is more rewarding than going it alone was a “proud teacher” moment we won’t forget. Muddy boots, tired arms, but incredibly strong hearts! ❤️☁️

Day 2 ⛵️🧗

Our Year 5 pupils have had another incredible day of taking risks and crushing goals. From mastering the waters in keelboats to facing fears while abseiling down heights, they’ve proven there’s nothing they can’t handle. We finished the day strong with the fast-paced challenge of Aeroball! 🏀✨

The resilience and determination on display today have been next level. So proud of these brave adventurers! 🧗‍♂️⛵️
