KCL Neuroscience Society

KCL Neuroscience Society All students are welcome! Undergraduate and postgraduate students of all disciplines and levels are welcome.

KCL NeuroSoc aims to unite Neuroscience students at King's and encourage passionate involvement in the subject through social events, talks, lectures, and collaboration with the Neuroscience Department of King's College London. King’s College London Neuroscience Society (KCL NeuroSoc) was founded in 2005 with the aim of uniting students across KCL with a passion for the subject, and encouraging discussion, dissemination of ideas and engagement of students with Neuroscience and its allied disciplines. Our goal is to provide a platform for learning, the pursuit of original research and the development of career opportunities in the field. Our core activities include regular academic events and meetings designed to engage and inspire students with cutting edge Neuroscience developments, as well as social events to establish a sense of continuity within the department and to provide a forum through which ideas can be expressed. The future of KCL Neurosoc will see us working closely at the divisional level with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, expanding our member base by widening our appeal to incorporate arts and humanities, building links with postgraduate modules via dedicated student representatives, and creating a platform to facilitate and encourage student participation in research, based on student’s own experiences in the lab. Membership for the whole year is only £3 and it enables you to gain free or significantly discounted entrance to our events! You can become a member in person at KCLSU in The West Wing, Guy's Campus, or you can join us online at: www.kclsu.org/organisation/Neuroscience/

KCL NeuroSoc x Brain Research UK 🧠

We are proud to announce our charity partnership with Brain research UK, the UK’s leading dedicated funder of neurological research.

With over 11 million people in the Uk living with a neurological condition, Brain Research UK funds vital science across three key areas: Brain tumours, brain and spinal cord injury, and headache and facial pain. The charity aims it improvive diagnosis, treatment, and ultimately prevention.

Through this partnership, proceeds from our Neurologue events and fundraisers throughout the year will go directly towards supporting their research. Every ticket, every donation, and every event you come to contributes to work that changes lives.

Thank you for being part of a society that gives back. 💙 💜

Mind Circles X Neurologue

This year we are keen on branching out into the wider London network and it’s curious minds, making our events more accessible and cross promoting learning about the brain.

That is why we are partnering with MindCircles, a London based organisation whose focus is on creating space for knowledge sharing through events, workships, and lectures designed to empower individuals and communities. Their lecture style talks, led by experts and storytellers, offer in depth insights on topics like mental health, neurodiverstiy, wellness, and psychology.
Whether in person or virtual, their events spark open dialogue and challenge stigma around mental health.

Why the collab? Because the best ideas in neuroscience travel. Partnering MindCircles and Neurologue means more perspectives, accessible events, and ways to get involved with the field beyond academics. 🧠 📖

We are proud to announce our official partnership with TENZING for Freshers’ Fair 2026.
TENZING is natural energy — caffeine from green coffee beans, L-theanine from green tea, vitamin C, and electrolytes. Energy without the crash. Fittingly, it takes its name from Tenzing Norgay, the first to reach the summit of Everest.
As a neuroscience society, we don’t simply hand you a drink. We ask how it works. Swipe through to see which brain systems it supports, and what each ingredient actually does.
Come find us at Freshers’ Fair on 21st September. Grab a can, meet the committee, and fuel the climb ahead.

Meet Neutonic — KCL NeuroSoc’s official Fresher’s Fair partner for 2026.
A productivity drink built on nootropics, adaptogens, and actual research-backed doses — Cognizin®, L-theanine, rhodiola, ginseng. As a neuroscience society, we don’t take “boosts focus” at face value, and this one earned the tick. ✅
Swipe for the science. 🧠 Then come find us at Fresher’s Fair — 21st September — and grab a can on us.
