Run by Stitch-School founder Melanie Bowles who encourages a playful approach to explore the vast range of embroidery stitches.

Focus on learning stitches for relaxation, cognitive challenge and creativity. Practice skills for self expression, building narratives and confidence for future projects.

18 month stitching project collaboration with and The final stitches have been added to the Arts & Humanities Community Cloth for 🧵

Completed on 14 April 2026, this faculty‑led project is a powerful celebration of creativity, wellbeing and community across UCL, shaped by more than 200 students and staff.

The Community Cloth will soon be displayed on the Bloomsbury Campus, with an unveiling event later this year. Watch this space. ✨️
