One of my favourite images for World Embroidery Day taken at Spitalfields market stitching event - we encourage all ages to explore and celebrate stitching!

Our brief for PLAY TIME CLOTH at the Whitworth gallery was to bring the outside of the Whitworth park inside the gallery. The wonderful trees 🌳 and nature that surrounds the gallery. We design our cloths using hand drawn illustration and then compose on the computer- we had such fun with this design and can’t wait to see how it’s stitched by families and folk.
