Aspiring Heads is an independent academic programme delivering inspirational leadership training.

We’re delighted to welcome Kemi Omijeh ~ Culturally informed racial trauma support as one of our Summit Hosts.

Kemi is a registered Psychotherapist, Supervisor and Trainer specialising in children’s mental health and antiracist practice.

Before moving into psychotherapy, she was a primary school teacher and school leader. Today, she supports professionals working with young people to embed trauma-informed, identity-affirming and culturally responsive practice.

With leadership, identity, belonging and psychological agency all part of the conversations we’re creating this year, Kemi brings an invaluable perspective to the room.

We’re delighted to welcome Shani Glover as a Host for AH Summit 2026.

Shani became an Assistant Headteacher at just 25, but her leadership extends far beyond the school gates.
She is also Director of Operations at Impact FC and an Equal Game Ambassador with the London FA, creating opportunities for young people and supporting grassroots clubs to strengthen their provision for women and girls.

Education. Football. Community. Motherhood.

Different spaces, but a consistent commitment to leadership, representation and opening doors for the next generation.

Shani brings warmth, energy and her own lived experience of leadership to the Summit, and we’re excited to have her helping us guide the conversations throughout the day.

We’re delighted to welcome Joy Mbakwe as a Panellist at AH Summit 2026.

Joy Mbakwe is an educator, consultant, speaker and writer whose career has taken her from Teaching Assistant to Head of English and Assistant Headteacher.

Today, her work explores education, race, parenting, identity and society - helping institutions have more honest conversations about inequality and challenging assumptions about what education can and should look like.

Her online work has reached millions.

And at No Permission, we’re creating space for exactly these kinds of conversations.

We’re delighted to welcome Danielle Ashley FCCT as a Panellist at AH Summit 2026.

Danielle Ashley is Executive Headteacher of St Joseph’s RC Federation, a National Executive for NAHT and Croydon Branch President.

She has led schools from Requires Improvement to Outstanding, becoming one of the country’s youngest Executive Headteachers and one of Britain’s first Black Executive Headteachers.

Danielle believes standards can be raised while leading in an ethical, values-based way and uses her influence to advocate for others and challenge decisions at the highest levels of education.

Now that’s a No Permission conversation we’re looking forward to. 🔥

We’re pleased to welcome Errol Comrie as a Panellist at AH Summit 2026.

From classroom teacher to Headteacher, Errol’s leadership journey spans school improvement, organisational transformation, social justice, safeguarding and tackling serious youth violence.

Beyond school leadership, he works with charities, communities, local authorities and public sector partners and is a regular media commentator on education and the wider issues affecting young people.

At the centre of his work is a commitment to the power of the unheard voice.

From criminal defence law in California to shaping school governance in the UK.

Meet Samira Sadeghi, joining us as a Panellist at AH Summit 2026.

Samira is Director of Trust Governance at the Confederation of School Trusts and has worked in school governance for more than a decade, including senior roles with Academies Enterprise Trust and Ark Schools.

But before moving to the UK, Samira spent almost 12 years as a criminal defence attorney in California, representing men on death row.

A leadership journey that definitely didn’t follow one conventional path.

We’re excited to announce Leon ‘Sweets’ Lewis as a Keynote Speaker at AH Summit 2026.

Known as South London’s Forrest Gump, Leon has completed all six World Marathon Majors, numerous ultramarathons and achieved an incredible marathon PB. He has also taken on the extraordinary challenge of running the entire length of Jamaica over four days.

But Leon’s story is about far more than running.

It is about consistency. Discipline. Resilience. Self-belief. And discovering what becomes possible when you stop allowing perceived limitations to define you.

At a Summit exploring what it means to lead without waiting for permission, Leon brings a completely different - and powerful - perspective to the stage.
