**What is Quarterdeck?**

Quarterdeck educates skippers and hosts, teaching them the necessary skills and qualifications for employment with one of our partners.

**Where will I work?**

Skippers and hosts contracted through Quarterdeck can be hired by any of our partners, in places such as Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, BVI, Tahiti, Italy, you name it!

**The Yacht Week**

Working as a skipper or host for The Yacht Week is one of the best jobs out there. Employees will be sailing, partying and enjoying a never-ending summer with people from over 60 different countries. If you think the trailer is exciting, wait until you experience it for yourself!

**Private Charters**

Working as a skipper or a host for a private charter can be a relaxing way to show a group of family and friends the best week of their lives. There is no set route, as you will communicate and adapt this to each different opportunity.

**We want you!**

The only thing left to do is join our Academy! Once you have passed the Academy, you are welcome work for QD and to come back for as many seasons as you like.

**Requirements**

Minimum requirements for skippers are:
- Skipper Academy*
- RYA Yachtmaster Offshore (or equivalent)
- Fluent in English


Minimum requirements for hosts are:
- Very service minded
- Previous cooking experience
- Fluent in English

**Skipper Academy**
