‘Bespoke Shirt Making with Lizandra & Paloma’

Make a bespoke shirt from your own measures, begin by drafting with Lizandra, then Paloma will guide you through construction.

Starts: 12th Sept 2026
Timings: 10am-4pm, Saturdays
Course Time: 7 Weeks

The difference is in the hands that teach you.

Our Bespoke Shirt Making Course is built around one simple principle: students should learn the exact methods used by today’s practising bespoke shirt makers.

Throughout the course, Lizandra and Paloma teach every stage of construction exactly as they perform it in their professional roles, passing on the technical precision, discipline and attention to detail that define traditional British bespoke shirt making. There are no shortcuts—just authentic industry practice taught by those who live the craft every day.

Working from your own body measurements, you’ll draft your personal bespoke shirt block before constructing your first handmade shirt under expert guidance. You’ll then leave with all the materials needed to create a second shirt independently, reinforcing your skills and building confidence beyond the classroom.

This is a fully practical, hands-on course designed for those who want to develop genuine trade-standard skills in an inspiring Savile Row environment. All specialist tools are provided throughout the course and are available to purchase from The LAB School Shop.

Course bookings are now open.

‘Evening Trouser Making with Rebecca’

Starts: 10th Seot 2026
Timings: 6pm-9pm, Thursdays
Course Time: 10 Weeks

Great craftspeople don’t simply follow a path—they shape one.

We’re incredibly excited to welcome Rebecca to The London Academy of Bespoke teaching team.

Rebecca’s journey began at London College of Fashion before taking an unexpected turn through the Royal Opera House, where the artistry of costume making laid the foundations for a career in bespoke tailoring. Exchanging tutus for trousers, she found her true calling on Savile Row, where creativity meets uncompromising precision.

Training under the exceptional Holly Robins, Rebecca immersed herself in the specialist discipline of bespoke trouser making, spending years refining the technical skill, patience and precision that define true craftsmanship. Today, she works as an independent tailor at Henry Poole & Co., one of Savile Row’s great institutions and enduring powerhouses, while continuing to develop and refine her craft.

Rebecca brings an energy that perfectly reflects the next generation of Savile Row—meticulous in her work, generous with her knowledge and passionate about helping others discover the satisfaction that comes from making something truly exceptional by hand.

At LAB, we’re proud to connect our students with the people shaping the future of bespoke tailoring, and Rebecca embodies exactly that. Her journey is proof that heritage and fresh thinking don’t compete—they strengthen one another.

Please join us in welcoming Rebecca to The LAB family.

‘Drafting for a Bespoke Suit with Mike Deans’

Starts: 9th Sept 2026
Timings: 6pm - 9pm, Wednesday Evenings
Course Time: 5 Weeks

There are few things more valuable than learning from those who have dedicated their lives to mastering the craft.

We are incredibly proud to welcome Mike Deans to The LAB teaching team. A Senior Cutter at Huntsman & Sons, Mike began his journey on Savile Row, completing his cutting apprenticeship at Gieves & Hawkes under the guidance of the renowned Nina Penlington, before going on to become Head Cutter at Oliver Brown.

Known for his meticulous eye, technical excellence and quiet dedication to the craft, Mike believes that true bespoke cutting is never simply about measurements or patterns—it’s about understanding the person before you and translating their individuality into timeless elegance.

As a passionate custodian of Savile Row tradition, Mike combines respect for heritage with an enduring curiosity to keep learning, refining and evolving his craft. We are honoured that our students will now have the opportunity to learn directly from one of the Row’s most respected contemporary cutters.

Please join us in giving Mike a warm LAB welcome.
