The CSEAS is the forum for South East Asian-related research activities at SOAS, University of London

The principal role of the Centre is to promote, coordinate and disseminate information relating to, the academic study of South East Asia across the disciplines and to act as a resource for academic, governmental, non-governmental and business constituencies with an interest in South East Asia. It does so through the research and publications of its staff, new teaching programmes, an established seminar series and special events.
