And just like that, in the blink of an eye, our time at PGL Windmill Hill, Sussex has come to an end.

A huge thank you to all the fantastic PGL staff for the enthusiasm, energy and care they showed our children throughout the week. We would also like to thank our own SWOY staff, who have supported the children every step of the way - from activities and mealtimes to bedtime routines and everything in between.

Many of our staff have been on countless school journeys over the years, and while the exciting activities always create lasting memories, one thing remains true time and time again: what children treasure most is simply being together. Whether it's sharing laughs during free time, chatting late into the evening in their rooms, or making memories with old friends and new, these are often the moments that stay with them long after the trip has ended.

Every year, we receive wonderful compliments from activity centre staff about the behaviour, manners and positive attitudes of our children, and this year has been no exception. We leave feeling incredibly proud of them all.

Thank you for following along with our adventure. There are plenty more photos and videos to come over the next few days!

For now, here are a few snapshots of the children enjoying some free time and games together this evening. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Our reception class have had a very special two weeks, watching tiny eggs hatch into fluffy chicks right before their eyes.

The children have loved caring for them, learning about life cycles, and seeing how much they've grown each day.

Our Year 1 mathematicians have been busy getting hands-on with concrete resources to bring abstract numbers to life! These physical tools are the essential 'secret sauce' for building a deep confidence and solid foundation in their mathematical thinking.

Last half term, Year 3 dove deep into the world of the Romans, crafting some truly beautiful mosaic tiles.

To bring their learning to life, Mr. Wilkie used his artistic flair to transform those tiles into an incredible Roman Baths scene for the children to explore - complete with Playmobil characters!

We are still smiling after last Friday's talent show. Every single contestant was a star - it takes so much courage to get up in front of everyone, and you were all brilliant.

A special thanks to Mr. Morris for hosting with such 'classic Morris' humor - the kids loved every second! And a big hand for our School Council reps, who judged the show fantastically. It was a true team effort!
