From 1ST AUGUST we will be implementing a new booking calendar, "Quartzy" for the self-service analysis cytometers (FACSCanto and FACSCalibur). From that date forward LabCal will no longer be available for our equipment. If you have existing bookings FROM 1st August these have been transferred and reserved by us on your behalf.
In order to gain access to the new calendar, you must:
1) Go to http://bit.ly/piicreg and agree to our terms and conditions*
2) Create an account at http://www.quartzy.com/
3) When your form and Quartzy requests have been received by us (please allow up to 2 working days) you will be given access to the new booking system.
4) Instructions for creating your bookings can be found , or on Quartzy underneath each machine's page see also the "important changes" below...
IMPORTANT CHANGES FROM LABCAL:
A) When booking in the new system, you must fill your grant code in the "Note to Admin only" field.
B) You must log ALL YOUR USAGE in the Quartzy calendar (it allows you to add events that are ongoing or even in the past). This applies whether it is booked in advance or ad hoc "walk-up" usage.
C) Not a change, but a reminder that if you cancel on the day of your slot, let other users know so they turn off the machine afterwards. And always check the calendar at the end of your slot!
