Explanations of the new NYSC policy in a lay man’s language

Like am explaining it to my 2 year old son

1. NYSC to start tech driven deployment since we are in the Gen-Z period

2. No more posting PCM to risky places, those places considered risky won’t be featured for posting

3. Six (6) weeks orientation camp of modern skill training to replace military style 3 weeks camping which focus on parade and military drills.

4. Posting to PPA will be based on your skill or qualifications and PPA will match skills or skills qualification PCM has, no more posting engineers to medical lab or nurses to do civil engineering.

5. No more Military DG, instead there will be civilian DG, military will only help in safeguarding corpers in camp

6. Improved camp standards so as to work for the digitalization model being introduced

7. No more POP, it will be replaced by a new kind of passing out ceremony.

8. No more Khaki, a new uniform that befits the new NYSC will be launched.
