North London Darkroom North London Darkroom Project The North London Darkroom, Photographic Darkroom, film processing, and Editing Suites.

The Darkroom has been put together, through various people that have an interest in the darkroom hand-made print. Founded by Sebastian Edge, the photographer and artist, whose work and interest stems from originality and craft. The darkroom caters for a wide range of photographers, who enjoy the craft of there own print. Work began in June this year to convert a number of rooms, once owned by a carpenter, in a busy industrial estate in Tottenham hale. Into what has become a space for printers and makers. We have had help along the way, Gloria and her contacts and support with National Gallery, led to the donation of a number of rare pieces of equipment. Also from the depths of Kings college University came yet more interesting equipment, and there is room to grow, depending on what its members want. The Darkroom is situated in the Milmead Industrial estate, five mins walk from Tottenham Hale Tube Station. In the same building is Jump photography studios and rehearsal space.

North London Darkroom (Black and White only) has been running since 2011 and has offered facilities and access to its professional equipment to many successful photographers and Artists. And has worked with some great Clients.
A rare spot to become a member of the darkroom has become available from September 2026 The membership fee is £350pcm and includes paper chemistry. Applicant must be a proficient experienced printer/photographer, considerate and responsible. The space is used by Sebastian Edge for mostly client work Wednesday to Friday day time (variable). And William Mokrysnki Mondays and Tuesday (though also variable) located N179QU comfortably print up to 20x24” fibre and much larger. Discounts on day rate tech support from Sebastian is also available to members.
