We’re enjoying the start of spring at Putney, and found this 1976 photo of some pupils playing round a May pole! We think it is taken in the area of the grounds now containing the Astro turf.

As we look forward to the joys of May, we’d love to see you at our all year reunion on Saturday 9 May from 12-3.30pm. Tickets are now on sale at https://www.trybooking.com/uk/FWZJ

A little throwback to Pastimes (2000), a wonderfully ambitious production full of medieval costumes, unforgettable performances and that classic Putney play buzz!
It was one of the shows shaped by the brilliant Julie Sharp, whose creativity and humour are still fondly remembered across our community.
Were you part of this cast or crew? We’d love to hear your memories!💜

We had the joy of welcoming some of our alumnae back to Putney for their 5- and 10-year reunion. The evening was filled with laughter, stories and a wonderful sense of nostalgia as former students and teachers reconnected.

Now embarking on a range of careers from food and fashion to dentistry and law, our alumnae reminisced over old yearbooks, enjoyed a speech from our Director of Sixth Form Sophie Clegg and signed up for upcoming alumnae events.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this reunion so special. We can't wait for future alumnae events - stay tuned to hear more about our next gathering in May 2026 for all Putney High School alumnae.

Time for a little alumnae detective work! 🕵️‍♀️
We found this photo in the archives — students, a teacher (we think),... But when, where, and who? Let us know if you recognise anyone!
