Number 1 in the country!!! 🏆 Gatehouse School secured the victory at St George’s today to become the ISA National Champions 🌟 A huge congratulations to our Head of Games Mr Baycanli and his team but most importantly a massive well done to the children- our very own Gatehouse Champions!

💛 Anti-Bullying Week at Gatehouse School 💛
This week, our pupils reflected on the power of kindness and friendship. One of our talented students shared a moving poem with the heartfelt reminder that:

Her words captured the true spirit of Anti-Bullying Week — standing together, supporting one another, and celebrating the light that kindness brings. 💫

Mr. Lee! Yesterday, we bid a fond farewell to our beloved caretaker, marking the end of an era. The farewell assembly was poignant and emotional, with the children singing a heartfelt tribute that left many with tears in their eyes. The lyrics of 'Jolene' and 'It's Coming Home' took on a new meaning as we wished Mr. Lee well in his retirement. After 30 incredible years, he's passing on the torch to spend quality time with Miss Yeomans, their children and grandchildren. We will end this post with words from Lee

Happy International Women’s Day! 🌺 Madame Moisy led a very inspirational assembly yesterday morning and spoke of the power of women. Children and staff shared information about women who inspire them. Who inspires you?

Year One were treated to a special presentation this week from Yana. They learnt all about a Bulgarian holiday called Baba Marta. 🇧🇬 Baba is a mythical figure who brings with her the end of the cold winter and the beginning of the spring 🌷 🦋 Yana also brought everyone in Year One a bracelet called a martenitsa which is traditionally worn from March 1 until the wearer sees a stork, swallow or blossom tree. Thank you Yana for this informative talk and wonderful poster
