🌟 WHAT A LOVELY STAY & PLAY! 🌟

We had such a lovely time at today’s SEN Stay & Play! 💛

Our new space was a huge hit — having so much more room to explore, play and move around was fantastic, and having access to an outside space made it even more special! 🌿☀️

I absolutely loved watching the children explore the environment at their own pace, discover all the toys and activities, and most importantly, make connections and friendships along the way. 🥰

And then, bringing everyone together at the end for Bucket Time was just lovely! 🪣✨ Watching the children come together, join in and enjoy the experience as a group was such a beautiful way to finish our session.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along today — it was so lovely having you all there. 💕

Today I received this absolutely beautiful review from a family I have had the privilege of supporting for the past 11 months.

I genuinely had to take a moment when I read it. 🥹

When you work closely with a child and their family, you don’t always see the difference you’re making in the moment. You just keep showing up, listening, adapting, learning and doing everything you can to support that child in the way they need.

And that is exactly what I have tried to do with Bells. 💗

Every child is different. Their communication is different. Their sensory needs are different. Their development, interests, strengths, challenges and ways of experiencing the world are different.

I don’t want a child to feel like they have to fit into a certain way of learning or communicating.

I want to understand who they are, what makes them tick, what they enjoy, what they find difficult and what helps them feel safe and successful.

And perhaps the biggest compliment of all is knowing that Bells knows me, trusts me and feels comfortable being herself around me. ❤️

🌞 SUMMER SEN STAY & PLAY – SPACES AVAILABLE! 🌞

A few spaces are still available at my upcoming Summer SEN Stay & Play sessions! 💛

These sessions are designed to be relaxed, welcoming and child-led, with small group numbers so children have plenty of space to explore without feeling overwhelmed.

🧸 Lots of free play
🌿 Bigger venue + access to a garden
💬 Time to chat with me and meet other families
✨ Optional group activity towards the end
💛 No pressure to join in – children can continue playing if they prefer

⏰ 9:30–11am
📍 All Saints Church, Springfield
👧 Ages 2–7
💷 £10 per child
👭 Siblings welcome – £5, subject to space

✨ Top Tip Tuesday ✨

Early intervention can make such a powerful difference in a child’s development 💛

If you’re noticing differences in your child’s communication, play, behaviour, or interaction — trust your gut. You know your child better than anyone.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions, speak to your health visitor, nursery, or GP, and push for support if you feel something isn’t quite right.

The earlier we can support a child, the more opportunities we create for them to thrive 🌱

You are not “overreacting” — you are advocating. And that matters more than anything.
