Sky’s the limit! 🪂 Louise & Evie from our Busy Bees Coventry Allesley Green took to the skies to raise money for BBC Children in Need 🥰
10,000ft up with plenty of supporters cheering from below. And one VERY nervous jumper! 😂
Louise loved every second… Evie? Not quite so much!🤣
But they absolutely smashed it, raising an incredible £2,400+ so far! 🎉
👏 We’re all SO proud of you both!

👏 A huge shoutout to Team Telford Priorslee! 
They took on the challenge of climbing Snowdon to raise money for BBC Children in Need and what an incredible achievement it was! ⛰️

After an unforgettable day of teamwork, determination and plenty of smiles, they’ve raised an amazing £1,772 so far... and donations are still coming in! 

Well done to everyone at Telford Priorslee. We’re so proud of you for going the extra mile (or mountain) to make a difference 🙌🏻

⚽️ World Cup fever has well and truly arrived at our nurseries! From proudly wearing their England shirts to getting creative with their very own flags, our little fans are loving every minute of the football fun. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

A huge congratulations to Hannah on reaching an incredible 10 years with Busy Bees Teddington! 🐝💛

Hannah started her journey with Teddington Busy Bees in 2016 as a trainee where she was completing her Level 2 early years qualification and then went on to complete her Level 3 qualification in early years where she then came a Room Manager in our Bumbles room. Hannah then widened her experience and dived into management where she became third in charge and in 2021 because the Assistant Centre Director working alongside Centre Director Dani.

Hannah continued to extend her learning by completing her level 3 in team leading, level 3 in leadership and management and is finishing off her Level 5 leadership and management. Hannah has a huge passion with quality and working to develop the environments to imbed the bee curious curriculum, Hannah has a great wide experience with all the different age ranges from babies to preschool.

Hannah is also the centre's SENCO and health and safety coordinator where she continues to support the staff, children and all parents of Teddington Busy Bees.

Here what Hannah has to say about her journey of 10 years with Busy Bees Teddington..."I have thoroughly enjoyed building my knowledge and working towards my qualifications to give the best start in life to all the children to support them in early years education. I have loved being a part of the Teddington Busy Bees family for the past 10 years working towards my career aspirations from a trainee to an assistant centre director. I look forward to many more years".

Here at Teddington Busy Bees we went on an outing to our local memorial hospital and into our community to see what we could see as part of their curriculum they have been focusing on their invitation to learn "People who help us". Bumbles and Bombos had a beautiful walk in the sunshine. On their travels they had stopped at The Teddington Memorial Hospital and spoke about how hospitals help us, when would we need to go to hospital and who works there.🏥

While we were at Bushy Park we were lucky enough to see a horse going for it's own little outing with its owner. 🐴

On our way back to nursery we then saw a fire engine and police car in action in which we spoke about the importance of a fire man and police man and how they help our communities. The children liked to watch the fire engine drive past the nursery and they waved goodbye as it went past. 👮‍♀️🚒

SPLASH, SPLASH, SPLASH. 🌊😎

Last week at Teddington Busy Bees in our baby room we have been exploring the water play in our lovely garden while enjoying the beautiful sunny weather (where has it gone!?)

We have been exploring the different sounds we can make with water by splashing using our hands, which made all of our friends involved giggle. Bombos have also been experimenting using the spade on how to transfer water to buckets and showing confident and independence with our gross motor skills. We look forward to carrying this activity out again this week with our other friends. 😊

Our Bombo's children went on an adventure to Bushy Park to explore the different natural resources and the animals they see there too. 🦌

Bombo's have been exploring different natural resources in our garden and we extended this to Bushy Park to explore a huge interest of Bombo's which is animals and leaves. As part of our Bee Curious Curriculum the children have been focusing on their sensory, Bombo's used the leaves from Bushy Park to explore the textures.

We look forward to our next trip to Bushy Park. 😁
