The autumn courses are the perfect opportunity for revision and exam practice, for pupils in Y5 who are preparing for exams at the end of 2022, and at the start of 2023. ONLINE – NAVIGATING THE UK UNIVERSITY SYSTEM (PARENTS’ COURSE)

20 to 21 August, 11am – 12pm each day

Cost of course (2 hours) – £80

Suitable for parents wishing to learn more about this subject. The course will run for 2 x 1 hour sessions on Zoom.

This course provides parents with an in-depth knowledge of the UK’s university system and explains the intricacies of university choice and the UCAS application process. Through a series of seminars and presentations, the course will help parents identify degree-choice options for their children, and provide them with the necessary background information to assist their child effectively. In addition to providing information about Oxbridge and the Russell Group Universities, the course will provide parents with details regarding all parts of the process, including references, personal statements, and university-specific examinations and written work.

The course will be run by Oxbridge Consultant, Lenny Cherry. Lenny graduated from Magdalene College Cambridge in 2016 with a First Class honours degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences, specialising in Biological Anthropology and Palaeolithic Archaeology. She now works at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
