Offering pupils a true education in Mind, Spirit and Heart, and the best possible preparation for the World Beyond school.

King's College School is an independent day school for boys aged 7-18 and girls aged 16-18. Founded in 1829 by royal charter, it is a school of over 1400 pupils and is one of the most academically successful schools in the world. The school prides itself on being one of the top academic schools in the country, but with a strong emphasis on pastoral care and an exceptional co-curricular programme.

King’s pupils celebrate another year of outstanding A level results. 🥳

For the fifth consecutive year, over half of all A level grades were awarded at A*. Combined with the school's record-breaking International Baccalaureate results announced earlier this summer, 56% of all examinations were awarded an A* or IB equivalent, while 88% achieved A*/A grades or the IB equivalent.

Oxford is this year’s most popular university destination, with almost 40 pupils taking up places. Other leading destinations include Cambridge, St Andrews, Durham and Bristol.

The cohort also celebrates the school's first-ever undergraduate place at MIT, alongside offers from Yale, Brown and Columbia in the USA, McGill in Canada, and TU Delft and Bocconi in Europe. One pupil has secured a place on the highly competitive Goldman Sachs degree apprenticeship.

As they prepare to embark on their next chapter, we congratulate the Class of 2026 and wish them every success for the future.

Over 100 pupils, 10 schools and one incredible play🫂

With September around the corner, preparations for the annual community production are about to begin. Every Friday, pupils from King's and other local schools come together as composers, prop-makers, artists, directors, actors and musicians, collaborating to create a spectacular show. This year, they brought 'Silas Marner' to the stage. We can't wait to see what comes next year!

All aboard for the holdup of the century...

The KCS Theatre Co are bringing their funny, stylish and anarchic retelling of the legendary 1963 heist, 'The Great Train Robbery', to the Edinburgh Fringe this August, and it's not one to miss. Working closely with our drama department, pupils have been creating props, writing scripts and staging the dramatic scenes of Britain's most infamous robbery.

Grab a ticket to one of their Fringe shows via the link below. Break a leg everyone!
