About the role:

Classroom Teachers are looking to recruit a Home tutor for a secondary student with ASD.

You have the opportunity to help the progression of a pupil who are unable to get the most out of a school setting. The student you will be working with require a patient, caring and resilient teacher due to the nature of their needs.

You will:

Work on a 1:1 basis with this student, hours as it stands are 2 hour sessions, 3 times a week. You will help the student develop their academic learning covering basic Maths, English and Science in most circumstances. You will also help with their life skills and confidence building. This particular student is of secondary age.

Teachers have to complete their own PPA (planning, preparation, assessment) and complete a report of progress every half term.

All work is to be completed within the school day hours and only runs during term time. The tuition can either take place at the home/local library.

Please note, it is possible to take on 2 students a day (3 hours both in the AM and PM) making the positions full time if that suits.
