The first of the Young at ‘Art Summer Trips to Tate Britain - a tradition for the last 3 years - as for many of us it is near enough on our doorstep and such a fantastic free resource!
Today’s trip focused on rooms 31-38 in the Turner Wing exploring his work as well as that of Constable & Rothko - we did a whistle-stop tour with one piece from each room highlighted before the group went on to sketch from whatever they found piqued their interest!

Last week’s Young at ‘Art in session with “Multifaceted Movement Silhouettes” - which was a trickier theme so was broken down into different options as well as the multiple images in one; silhouettes in general, layering of different objects, collage and even a nod to Jasper John’s Alphabet multi layering letters
A fab variety of creations, inspirations and aesthetics!
