Why learn an instrument?

No matter how old you are, there are so many benefits to start learning an instrument.

Firstly, you will be able to gain confidence as a performer-this is a big one. Being able to present yourself as a confident person is a must if you want to be successful across other areas of your being. It helps your stage presence, it makes you more approachable, it makes you a more positive person!

On the more cognitive side of things: It employs both sides of the brain. It boosts your memory- both muscle memory and long term memory. It makes you culturally more aware and you can express yourself through music.

Bet you didn’t know, but music “enhances the immunological response, which enables us to fight viruses.”- We need this to survive the Coronavirus.
