The MSc Regional and Urban Planning Studies is proud to announce that Dimitrios Voulgaris (RUPS 2017-18) has been as a finalist for the British Council Alumni Awards 2024 in the Social Act category, in Greece!

He is being recognised for the work he has been doing with Mataroa, a non-profit in Greece. The mission at Mataroa is to redefine the business culture and educational identity in the Greek region, aligning it with contemporary challenges in spatial development. By focusing on empowering girls and women in the tech sector and boosting their digital skills, to not only address gender inequalities but also to contribute to the development of more innovative, inclusive, and sustainable urban and regional strategies.
