Typically you can expect to pay around £35-£40 per hour, depending on the experience and qualifications of the tutor and the age group being taught, of which we will take £5. We can also provide younger tutors for homework help and mentoring for a lower hourly rate.For your peace of mind, all of our tutors are required to have an up-to-date Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (previously the Criminal Records Bureau). Furthermore, we personally interview each applicant and take up two references to ensure they meet our rigorous standards. Of course we require our tutors to have an in-depth knowledge of their subject area, but all of our tutors also have a calm, patient demeanour, the ability to analyse what's really going on in a student's mind and explain a topic in terms they can understand, and the desire to inspire students through creative lessons and their own passion for their subject.
