Kensington Aldridge Academy is an 11-18 secondary school in North Kensington which opened in brand new buildings September 2014. The school was rated Outstanding by Ofsted in 2017 and named “Secondary School of the Year” by the Times Educational Supplement (TES) in 2018. The academy delivers an outstanding education for all its students and aspires to the very highest standards in every aspect of
its provision. Our goal is for all our students to grow knowledge and qualifications they need to go on to university or the career of their choice. We specialise in Performing & Creative Arts, and offer our students expert teaching of music, drama, art and design, providing them with access to first class facilities, including our theatre and visual arts studios. The academy's lead sponsor is Aldridge Education, a charitable Trust whose non-selective, entrepreneurial community schools and colleges help young people to reach their potential. The academy is co-sponsored by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). The Educational Advisory Partners for the school include the two independent schools Charterhouse and Godolphin & Latymer, and our arts partners LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) and the Royal Academy of Dance.
