One of Upahaar's Bharatanatyam teachers Pallavi Anand recently supported the percussion team on Nattuvangam for Bharatantyam artist Amritha Jayakrishnan in her production 'Dvanda' at The Bhavan in April!

Pallavi was the Nattuvanar alongside Prathap Ramachandra on Mridangam, Vamshi Vishnudas on Vocal and Vijay Venkat on Flute. Congratulations to the Amritha and the team for an amazing production!

It’s in three parts:
- junior workshop
- ⁠performance
- ⁠senior workshop

Upahaar's Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam students recently performed at The 10th Anniversary of Paththameny Uravukal in Wembley!

The girls presented a Mallari, Ganesha Vandanam, Pushpanjali, Shantakaram Shloka and Swara Korvai, a Padam- Poonkuyil and a Thillana in ragam Kathanakuthuhalam.

Upahaar's Bharatanatyam Students recently took their ISTD Exams, for a variety of Grades from Grade 1 to Grade 5!

Congratulations to the girls for their hard work and receiving some amazing results with more than 50% receiving a Distinction!

Upahaar's students were grateful to recieve the following awards: Senior students Amiya and Diya recieved Gold, Sutton junior students Anchu Madhu also recieved Gold, Dakshina and Prisha recieved Bronze and Vasundara and Mahima also recieved Bronze. Lastly Ananya and Shreyasi from Sutton also participated in the competition. Well done to all the girls who took part!
