Bedfordshire Police
We are a small force with just over 1300 officers. We cover a relatively small area of Bedfordshire, 478.8sq miles (smaller than greater Manchester), which neighbours Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, with whom we share some functions as the B*H tri- force. We boast excellent transport links via the M1, 35 mins drive to London and an international airport on our doorstep. The variety of crimes that this presents allows our officers to gain skills and experience many officers would not gain unless within specialist roles.
