What a wonderful way to celebrate summer at the Kew Green Prep Summer Fair! ☀️🌿

It was fantastic to see so many of our families come together for an afternoon of summer games, fun and plenty of sunshine. We also spotted some amazing summer outfits - congratulations to our winners! 🌸🏆

And of course, a special mention has to go to some of our cutest visitors of the day… the dogs! 🐶 We loved seeing so many four-legged friends joining in the summer fun.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the fair such a special occasion and to all our families who joined us.

We hope you’ve had a wonderful summer and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back this Autumn Term as a new season begins… although perhaps the sunshine will stick around a little longer! ☀️🍂

🏎️🔧 Year 5 recently completed their exciting F1 Primary STEM project after weeks of designing, testing and teamwork!

Working in teams, pupils built their own miniature F1 cars, explored engineering and aerodynamics, created team logos and confidently presented their ideas. 🚗💡

The project finished with a thrilling race day where students proudly raced their cars and celebrated their achievements. 🎉🏁

We were incredibly impressed by the teamwork, resilience, creativity and enthusiasm shown throughout this fantastic STEM challenge! 🌟👏

Year 4 created an exciting catching game where players click on a character to catch it. They used a score variable to keep track of points, increasing the score by one for each successful catch and resetting it at the start of every new game.

Through this Computing lesson, pupils developed their understanding of variables, sequencing, and creating interactive programs. 💻🎮
