During exam season, it’s easy for students to focus only on marks and outcomes.

But progress often shows up in quieter ways:
spotting mistakes, sticking with challenging questions, recognising patterns, and continuing to practise even when it feels difficult.

These are all signs that confidence and understanding are growing.

Keep going, you’re doing better than you think 💛

We are incredibly proud of our 11+ students and the outcomes they have achieved this year.

Our cohort secured 91+ offers across leading independent schools, including Westminster, St Paul’s Girls’ School, Latymer Upper and many others.

These results are a reflection of consistent preparation, growing confidence and strong academic foundations built over time.

As we enter the final term of Year 5, this is one of the most important stages in the 11+ journey, and the work done now can make a significant difference.

If you would like to discuss your child’s preparation or next steps, please feel free to get in touch with our team.

Celebrating International Children’s Book Day 📚✨

Reading for pleasure remains one of the most powerful habits children can build.

It strengthens vocabulary, inference, writing, empathy, and critical thinking across every stage of learning.

We’ve put together a reading list by year group to help inspire curious young minds 🌱

Save this for your next bookshop trip.

Starting 11+ preparation and not sure what VR / NVR means?

Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning are an important part of many 11+ entrance exams and are designed to assess how a child thinks, reasons, and solves unfamiliar problems.

We’ve put together this simple guide to help parents understand what these sections involve and what preparation actually works.

The earlier the right foundation is built, the easier the journey becomes.

Save this post for future reference if your child is approaching the 11+ journey.
